Scouting Leadership Role:
My Scouting role involves planning programs for Beavers (ages 6–8), completing risk assessments, and preparing necessary session paperwork. I also assist young leaders with their training and help with Cubs (ages 8–10) by running games and activities, as well as Scouts (ages 10–14½) by leading sessions, supporting skill-building, and tackling challenges together. This boosts my confidence and teamwork skills while ensuring safety is always maintained.
Volunteering Opportunities
Garforth & District Lions:
I’ve supported Garforth & District Lions' annual Santa Run by walking through my local area with volunteers, accompanying Santa's buggy, and collecting donations—an amazing way to help the wider community.
Ilkley Playhouse - The Trials:
Between late November 2024 and January 2025, I'm working as a lighting/sound operator/designer.
The role that I took on required skills like teamwork, time management, problem-solving, and technical knowledge. Creativity was essential when I was choosing for certain SFX, music, and lighting for certain parts of the production.
